Good Friday Service
This Good Friday service is an opportunity to consider the significance of the death of Jesus.
The service will have a number of prayers, songs and Scriptures read to help the congregants feel the weight of their sin and see the beauty of the love of Jesus displayed in his sacrificial, substitutionary death on the Cross. The services should last about an hour.
Kids will remain in the service, however, an activity pack can be collected upon entering for kids to use during the service.
Note: This service will be a combined service of the Penshurst and Riverwood Presbyterian Churches. A warm welcome to all regulars and those that would like to visit!

Good Friday Service
In the Old Testament offering sacrifices were a normal part of Jewish religion to ensure that God would cleanse them of their wrong doing.
Why can’t God just forgive? Why do sacrifices need to be offered?
Join us for this Good Friday service as we think about the significance of Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice that takes away the sins of the world.
